2026 1st Quarter - Happy Chilly New Year! I would say the New Year has started off with a bang! It's been cold, but it is not stopping people from putting their houses on the market. We're starting out with a good supply compared to other years, so that's a good thing for Buyers - a choice! Interest rates are improving, believe it or not, and can only get better. The Spring Market is not too far away - consider the Super Bowl as the beginning! While Sellers may not get 10-30 offers for their house (location is a large factor), there will still be one Buyer waiting for the right house. So if you were on the fence before, it's time to jump off, especially if you are renting. Why pay someone else's mortgage when you can pay your own and build equity over time. I know starting at the higher interest rate isn't ideal, but you can always refinance down the road. It's your call. So that's where an experienced agent comes in to counsel you on your options to get you the house you want. I cannot make promises, but I will work hard on your behalf.
